May 2011: following British Conservative politician Nadine Dorries' proposed amendments to the Health and Social Care Bill, pro-choice activists take to the streets outside the Houses Of Parliament. Demonstrating their opposition to Dorries' suggestion that "independent" counselling services could be provided by anti-abortion faith groups, Dorries' proposed amendment would later lose by a majority of 250 votes in the House of Commons.

April 2012. 40 Days For Life, having camped outside BPAS for 40 days with an ongoing prayer vigil, were met by opposing pro-choice campaigners on their last night of prayer. Hundreds of pro-choice men and women arrived at the square, brandishing banners, placards, and shouting pro-choice messages in unison to counter 40 Days' actions.

To celebrate 20 days of their 40 day vigil, 40 Days For Life were set to gather outside St James church in central London in October 2012. To counter their action, pro-choice men and women were on hand with placards, banners and good cheer to get their opposing message across. 40 Days For Life later failed to turn up.
